Located in upstate New York, UB Stadium has been the home to the Buffalo Bulls since 1993. Prior to its opening, the football team played at the old UB Stadium. It was a small stadium with a capacity of around 5,000. By the late 1980s, the university decided to build a new state of the art facility that would be for multiple sports, including football.

In September 1991 construction of a new stadium commenced and was completed by the start of the 1993 football season. The Bulls played their first game at UB Stadium on September 4, 1993 against the University of Maine. The $23 million stadium has a seating capacity of 31,000 that includes 12 luxury suites. Single tier grandstands, broken apart, surround the gridiron. Other than being the home to the football team, UB Stadium is home to the track team.
