Minnesota Twins first baseman Miguel Sano (knee) was activated from the 60-day injured list on Monday. Sano had been on the injured list after having meniscus surgery on his left knee early in May. The Twins optioned Gilberto Celestino back to Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move to make room for Sano on the big-league roster. Sano is hitting just .093 with one homer and three RBI across 54 at-bats in 2022. He may struggle to see everyday at-bats with the Twins unless there's an injury ahead of him.
