But we are old school so we urge all not to forget the past, as years ago Las Vegas marketed and provided sports wagering as an additional form of fun entertainment.

Thats when the Sportsbooks became accepted by the main stream public. Visitors starting meeting up and watching games in the comfort and saftey of a designated place within there favorite casino.

They took a break, watched a game made a wager, socialize and conversed about many topics with other patrons.

Often, these sportsbooks were situated in-between the restaurants and usually near a band stand where live music would be regularly playing.

Today with phones and apps the ability to legally wager on sports has evolved

Yet, it is still basically a form of entertainment, let’s face it, during football season and other times most restaurants and bars have a game on a TV and usually someone has an opinion or a monetary interest in the outcome of the event.

Kev’s Weekly Commentary

September 30th 2026

A.I. and Texas are Both Overrated. SportsBookStuff.com is the new Super Intelligence.

It seems that with every passing week football will teach us all lessons. Some lessons are easy, some are a bit more difficult. Regardless of which type of challenge we encounter I always feel that it’s important to learn from your lessons be they easy or hard. After all, we all want to get educated right? Let’s take a moment to discuss some of the things I’ve learned the past week or two. Pay attention.

First of all, Texas is NOT the best college team in America. Not only are they not the best team but at this point I would not even have them ranked in the top ten. They are ridiculously overrated and no, I am not impressed with Arch Manning. Looking back, Texas has played maybe one decent quarter the entire year and that was the fourth quarter against Ohio State where they just barely squeezed out a win. Have they ever covered the spread? I don’t think so and yes it’s cost me some bling and more then one running parlay. I’m short I’m not a big fan of Texas.

Second big lesson of the week is that AP Polls don’t mean squat. Niether do Coach’s Polls, USA Today Polls and cheerleader polls. I don’t even look at them anymore. Why bother? Looking at poll rankings is probably the quickest way to loose your money in this game. Polls are just another topic for mainstream sports media to discuss and dwell on endlessly. It’s seems that the entire day of Monday is now consumed with who’s ahead of who, who’s at the top and who’s at the bottom. I couldn’t care less. They mean nada, zero, nothing.

Third important lesson and this is one you need to pay attention to; A.I. assisted sports handicapping is basically in the toilet and it’s only week 4. My feed on X is literally flooded with A.I. assisted sports handicappers and they barely break 50 percent.

In addition, they actually want big money to subscribe so you can receive “can’t miss bets and parlays”. Yeah OK, they’re the ones telling you to take Texas and lay the points. We all know how that worked out right?

The bottom line is this and I’ll keep it short. Old school handicapping like you get on SportsBookStuff.com remains the best bet. We don’t ask for money, we don’t bang our drum. For myself and college picks I use the same scheme every week. Same goes for the crew doing the NFL handicapping.

There’s a reason we’re still around and it’s not because of A.I.

In the end, what good is Super Intelligence if it doesn’t help you win games right? Play on I Say!!
